Well, I'm actually getting something done with the site! I am currently just putting together the lot displays and previews (Thanks again, Martin, for your opinion!) and I will hopefully get the site back up and running again sooner than later. I have all but a couple of the files uploaded, so I don't have to wait ten years for FileCabin to upload everything when the site's finally finished. I'll re-launch the site with only my newest lots, and will gradually upload all of the older stuff into an archives directory. I'm just excited about my newest lots! I went hog wild making community lots, but as Martin said once, we all sort of went crazy! ;D So, here's just a peek at what's coming. I'll be having a "story" section later with the site, since I want it to be more "story-based" than "Here, have a lot. Have 20 lots!" The lot display. I wanted to keep it simple to allow faster loading times for us Neanderthals that still have dial-up. (This has changed slightly, but not by much.) Preview images will be more or less like this. So that's that. I'll update with a progress report shortly. (It's coming! I swear!)

Wowee! Looks REALLY nice Kari! Previews so far are making me pretty darn excited for your re-opening! haha One thing I noticed though, you've got the urbz display in there. Did you get it to package right? I had a gaming place that wouldn't package right with that darn item in it. I had to scrap the whole thing. I didn't see the download on maxis' site, but haven't checked recently.

Yeah. I think I originally had to download it a couple of times before it worked, and then finally it loaded correctly. I think it should be with the lot if downloaded, but I don't know how that exactly works with custom content. If I can find the package for it, I'll send it to you. For whatever reason I can't use the Custom Content Manager from Maxis as it just continues to crash, so I'll have to hunt for it in SimPe. And as far as the logo...Even my boyfriend who works for GameStop was like "Man! That totally DOES look like the GameStop logo!" And then he looked at me kind of funny. Maybe I creeped him out because I made a lot that's similiar to his job. Does that make me stalker-ish? Oh, can I get your opinions? Where it says Morning-Tide Mondays at the top, I was planning on capturing a screenshot of my neighborhood, Ameron, and kind of using that as a backdrop in the header. I was thinking making the image slightly see through so as not to be overpowering. But do you think that would look too cluttered? Or should I leave it blank like it is?

Ooh, your site is pretty crisp and clean as it is, I think adding your neighborhood in that title area would be the perfect touch.

Hm. I think I will add it. And if I don't like it, then that's the beauty of using layers in Photoshop!
