As some of you know, I've been with my boyfriend for over three years now and we're planning on getting married; we're moving in with each other following graduation. His mom, since we're like family already, is getting me a kitty for a graduation present. The breed is called a bengal, and I'm so excited about it So I thought I'd to a show and tell: Those are two pictures from the breeder she's getting them from. They're super friendly and inquisitive animals, and the first bengal I came across had a fascination with flushing toilets and hunting for things through potted ferns... Devon's getting a kitty too, but a different kind, called a Balinese - sort of like a Siamese but with longer hair:

Oh wow! What cute kittens!! They are definately going to be very pretty when they get older! Is that their mom in the tub? I swear I have never seen a cat IN the water, let alone REACHING for it! ;D And the Balinese are very pretty too. The first picture would have reminded me of a Ragdoll (I used to have one of those cats) if it only had flecks of orange, white, gray, or brown on its nose. But they look pretty too. Congrats on getting the new babies and on moving in together! It's so exciting because I'm going to be moving in with my boyfriend and we're going to get a kitten for my cat to eat...I mean play with!

We were looking at Ragdolls too, they're really cute. Devon's a fan of longer haired kitties (ergo his choices).
That kitty is one of the queens at the cattery, although I'm not sure it's necessarily the mother of the kitties in the picture there... but yeah, I thought the same thing! My cats at home (my family adopted two girls who are now 7) love running water but they always watch or drink it from someplace safe (AKA DRY!).
Bengals are decendents from Asian Leopard Cats which is where they get their look... I just want a cat that can be crazy and charismatic.

Bengals are nice, next step down from a Savannah... I didn't think they were descendants so much as cross-bred... expensive animals, but beautiful.

Awww! cute kitties! I LOVE the fur on the bengals! like my own lil leopard. haha I don't like the long-haired kitties too much, for one, they shed like mad, and two, the furballs! aaaaaaaaack! Congrats on the kitty and moving in. Boys are fun too sometimes. LOL

yeah the great thing about the Balinese though is that they don't shed nearly as much as traditional long hairs do... WOOT!

He is two weeks old in that photo. That's probably going to be Marlowe.
I'm such a proud Momma. I'll post more of him as he gets bigger and once we can confirm the other kitty.
