My gosh, I'm so sad the coolest guy died Irwin was that great Austrailian guy who was always out with the crocidiles. He died by a stingray barb to his heart while filming a documentary. FULL STORY

i heard it on tv....on the news ... a sad news...i was always waching his shows on animal planet and discovery i think...

I used to watch him a couple years ago. My roommate was really into him. I had no idea. I go to tell people at work and they're like.. yeah, that happened on Monday! I'm so slow in learning of new things sometimes. Still really sad. He was a great personality.

Yeah, he was so awesome. I read in the news that a stingray sting like that happens 1 in every million. That's shocking

I saw it on the news, then I watched an ABC video online about swimming with sting rays and what do when you approach them. Then I found an article on Yahoo! about Irwin's last moments being caught on tape--he was actually filmed pulling the barb out of his heart before dying.

I heard this on the radio the other day. Its such a tragic tale. He was the type of person who was so fearless that you thought he would live forever. My thoughts are with his wife and children who have lost an amazing person. I feel sad.

I seen this on another forum, I was a fan of Steve Irwin and I was shocked and saddened by the news of his death.
