Hi, I'm here for a moan.
Today is one of the hottest days on record in this country (UK) and I just happen to run out of nappies today! (Grrr) So anyway i had to go into town on the bus with my little boy. On the way back i was surprised to actually get a seat where i could leave his buggy up on the bus instead of folding it down! (Yay)
BUT this poor woman got on the bus with a huge buggy (with a 3 year old in) and a small baby on her chest in one of those hangy, holdy thingys. She got to the door and was struggling to fold down her buggy, control her 3 year old, hold her shopping and carrying this baby as well. The totally ignorant bus driver drove away from the stop as she had just got on! I was like 'Oi, cant you see she has a baby on her chest! Can you at least wait until she has sat down!?'..... and he stopped the bus and waited. That is so typical of this country.
I dunno if its just the head that aggravates me but i was well angry. I have had bus drivers do that to me before.

oh wow! Some people who don't have kids don't think twice about that, unfortunately. What's even worse is that it's common courtesy to at least wait until someone has found a seat ESP with a baby in tow! I was reading this and thought you were going to say you were going to give up your seat so she could sit comfortably, but I didn't realize there was room for her to sit too. lol I've had to ride the bus around campus before and they usually don't wait for everyone to sit down. Then again, I hadn't run into problems like that beings that it was mainly students on the buses. During the night hours was when you'd get other residents of our town riding and coming to and from the grocery store, the local mall, etc. Btw, you never mentioned how hot it was there. And what's a nappie? haha

Haha! A nappy is a (now... let me spell this right) Diaper... ?? Bus drivers over here hardly ever wait for you to find a seat before they drive off. Some times you get a nice one who does but not allot of the time. Youll get elderly women who walk slow and find it hard to walk down the bus while the driver is roaring away from the road. Its all crazy! It has been 99 Degree F today!

ohmigoodness. I'm sure you don't get humidity as well? Which puts the heat index in upwards of 120 F? It's been a lot nicer here this summer, but the last month, we spent double what we normally do on electricity. It's absolutely crazy!
